"Miss Alankrita?"
She stood immediately.
"Mr Moretti. Thank you for meeting me."
Professional handshake.
Professional smiles.
Professional distance.
Nothing unusual.
He gestured toward the interview area near the window overlooking London.
"Please sit."
She arranged her recorder carefully.
Opened her notebook.
Prepared her questions.
No nervousness.
No celebrity awe.
No attempt to flatter him.
Damiano noticed immediately.
Most interviewers spent the first five minutes praising him.
She didn't.
Instead she asked:
"Your food combines multiple cultures without losing identity. Was that intentional or natural?"
He looked up.
That wasn't the question he expected.
Interesting.
"Both."
"How?"
And somehow,
without realizing it,
he answered properly.
Not rehearsed answers.
Real answers.
The conversation slowly stopped feeling like an interview.
It started feeling like a discussion.
