The same little boy who had somehow conquered her office.
Her heart softened immediately.
"We'll make it work."

"You drop him here every morning."
"I'll watch him."
"At five o'clock you pick him up."
The office became silent.
Alankrita looked shocked.
"Lara..."
The older woman shrugged awkwardly.
"He likes my office."
This was true.
